Compass Campers Canada Rental TermsPayment A non-refundable deposit will be taken from your nominated credit card at time of booking confirmation. This percentage of the total fees will vary depending on the number of days your booking is placed before travel commencement. You can pay with Visa/Mastercard. The balance payment due will be deducted from your nominated credit card 35 days prior to the commencement of your rental. Please ensure there are sufficient funds available on your credit card card. If you are booking within 35 days of travel the entire cost of the rental will be transacted from your nominated credit card at time of booking confirmation. Note on foreign currency bookings: full balance of payment (including the deposit) will be collected at the time of confirmation if you have elected to process your booking in a currency different to CAD$. Some charges may be payable directly to your rental station upon arrival, these will be itemised as such in your breakdown of pricing if and where applicable. Payment for some additional items like physical extras (chairs, camping equipment) or additional insurance covers may be payable on arrival. If so these will be itemised as such. All changes and cancellation charges are subject to taxes. Travel Insurance The supplier strongly recommends that clients ensure they take out the highest level of Travel Insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking. The quoted price includes: - Standard insurance with an excess $7500. See below for excess reduction

Bicycles provided by Compass Campers RV are regular road bikes only and not suitable for heavy duty off-road use.
Bikes and bike racks must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
No child bike-seats or children bikes available. Child seats cannot be installed on our bikes. Availability Every effort is made to ensure that the vehicle reserved will be available. However, if due to unavoidable circumstances the reserved vehicle is not available, Compass Campers RV Rentals reserves the right to substitute that vehicle with a vehicle of equal or greater value. Subsequent expenses (additional ferry costs, gasoline, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the renter.
NOTE: In a case where the reserved vehicle type is not available, Compass Campers reserves the right to select a suitable alternative. Cancellation Charges for individual reservations Upon confirmation that your selected vehicle is available a non refundable booking deposit will be taken from your nominated credit card. In addition to this the following cancellation fees apply: Cancellation after booking confirmation and up to 49 days prior to departure: 10% of nightly rental rate (and oneway fee if applicable)
34 to 48 days prior to departure: 20% of nightly rental rate (and oneway fee if applicable)
18 to 33 days prior to departure: 80% of nightly rental rate (and oneway fee if applicable)
0 to 17 days prior to departure and no show: 100% of nightly rental rate (and oneway fee if applicable)
One-way rentals: CAD$300 in addition to applicable cancellation fee
Note: Changes to bookings must be reported to our reservations department prior to client’s departure. Cancellation of Group Reservations The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
Over 93 days prior to departure: CAD$100 per vehicle
34 to 92 days prior to departure: CAD$300 per vehicle
0 to 33 days prior to departure: Individual reservation fee
One-way rentals: CAD$300 in addition to applicable fee Note: Cancellation charge not to exceed the full amount of the rental. Cancellation fees are subject to applicable taxes. Changes First change: No charge

Please note: these are the fees set out by Compass Campers in addition to those on the website amendment fees. All changes and cancellation charges are subject to taxes.
In the event of a date change, the new travel dates must fall within the same calendar year. Moving the rental date to the following calendar year will be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to fees.
The cancellation fee applied will be based on the originally requested travel dates. Compass Campers shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event a booking or rental is cancelled, rescheduled, changed, postponed or interrupted due to a fortuitous event, act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of the rental impracticable, illegal or impossible. Cleaning of Vehicles All vehicles must be clean inside when returned. This includes kitchen, bathroom and living areas. A charge of $50 per hour for cleaning will be applied for those vehicles returned in an unsatisfactory state. Vehicle holding tanks requiring dumping by Compass Campers staff will result in a $35 service charge. Outside washing is not required, unless the check-in procedure cannot be performed due to dirt on the vehicle. We recommend that “Northern Travelers” wash the vehicle prior to returning it to the rental station to avoid potential delays upon check-in.
Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles. Compass Campers reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of $250.00 if a vehicle returns smelling of smoke. Currency All rates and quotes are in Canadian dollars. Driver’s license requirements A valid driver’s license from the country of residence is mandatory. Drivers must be 25 years or older, no maximum age limit. An international driver’s license (IDP, see below) is recommended but is only valid in combination with the national driver’s license.
International Driving Permit
The IDP is a special license which allows motorists to drive internationally, which is valid only when accompanied by a valid driver’s license from their country. Fraserway does not require an IDP, but recommends renters having one in case they get stopped by the police. Driver’s licenses that are not printed in Latin alphabet require an international driving permit in English language, and Fraserway does not accept responsibility if law enforcement refuses to accept a license on the basis of not being accompanied by an IDP. Drop Off 08:30 AM to 12 PM (noon), inspection ready. Sufficient time should be allowed for packing suitcases and cleaning vehicles.
Late returns are not allowed without Compass Campers’s permission. If the vehicle is returned late without Compass Campers’s permission, overtime hours are charged up to a maximum of 4 times the daily retail rate.
Early Return Compass Campers RV Rentals will not give any refunds for rentals returned prior to the arranged drop off date.
Final Audit All charges are subject to a final audit. If renter is overcharged or undercharged the renter will pay the corrected amount or receive a refund.
Fuel The vehicle has to be returned with a full tank of fuel. If the renter does not refuel, the renter agrees to pay for having the vehicle refueled at a rate of $3.00 per litre.
Groups Reservations for four or more vehicles traveling together are considered a group booking. The supplier encourage groups to travel in non-peak periods and will provide an attractive quote if at least 2/3 of the time traveled is in non-peak periods. For groups with more than 20 participants, special coach transfer arrangements may have to be made. Cost for the coach transfer will be at the booking agent’s expense. Compass Campers is not able to accommodate large group bookings during the months of July and August. International Driving Permit The IDP is a special license which allows motorists to drive internationally, when accompanied by a valid driver’s license from their country. Compass Campers does not require an IDP, but recommends renters having one in case they get stopped by the police. Large Events Use of rental vehicles for any large outdoor event may be subject to an additional deposit or surcharge. Vehicles for festivals and events must be explicitly requested at time of reservation. Restriction: Attendance of the Burning Man Festival with our vehicles is not allowed. Failure to comply with this restriction will result in a penalty of a minimum of $5,000.-, void of CDR and CDW and renter’s responsibility for all costs involved (including, but not limited to, damage and cleaning).
Northern Travel Traveling to the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Labrador, Newfoundland or Alaska (U.S.) is permitted when disclosed in advance. Compass Campers will not deliver Van conversions, C-Large, C-XLarge, MH27-SW, A-30 or Adventurer 4 motorhomes to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Labrador, Newfoundland or Alaska. We do not recommend travel to these areas with C-XLarge, A30 or MH27SW motorhomes. Pets (Dogs only) On request only. A charge of $100.00 per dog will apply. Pick Up Vehicles can be collected at our rental stations from Monday to Saturday between 08:30 AM and 3:00 PM local time (on Sundays at selected stations). Transfers are available until 1:00 PM.
Please note that we do not allow pick-ups on the same day of arrival on an overseas flight. It is required that the clients stay at a hotel for the first night. Proof Read Brochure Pages Compass Campers will proof read the brochure pages pertaining to our product; however, Compass Campers does not accept responsibility for errors in the final document, grammatical or otherwise. In the case of such an error, the terms outlined and negotiated with the designated product manager will always prevail. Redistribution If the renter returns the vehicle to any location other than the location indicated on the rental contract, the renter agrees to pay regular rates plus applicable redistribution charge or towing charge. Refund/Repairs All replacement parts or repairs in excess of $50.00 require prior authorization from Compass Campers RV. Please note that refunds can only be made upon presentation of a proper receipt. Malfunctions of the air conditioning systems, microwave ovens, radios and cruise controls are not considered breakdowns and no compensation for inconvenience will be given however if repairs on such appliances are done on the road by a customer, the repair cost will be refunded. Renter’s Responsibility Renter agrees by renter’s signature on the front of this agreement that renter has read, is aware of, and accepts full responsibility for and is bound by the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, which also consists of optional documentation provided to renter in connection with this agreement. Right to refuse service Compass Campers RV LP reserves the right to refuse service. Seatbelts The number of passengers may not exceed the number of seatbelts while the vehicle is in motion. Security Deposit A pre-authorization of a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) is required while the vehicle is rented. This also applies to rentals which include CDW. Cash rentals are not allowed.
In cases where the CDR Insurance is not purchased, Compass Campers will block the full amount of the deductible ($7500) on the customer’s credit card. Suitcase Storage Compass Campers RV Rentals offers free storage of luggage at owner’s risk.
- Travel into Mexico is prohibited;
- Travel in Death Valley, California, is prohibited between June 1 and August 31;
- Non-public roads and off-road driving is prohibited at all times;
- Compass Campers does not allow the vehicle to be left unattended by renter in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa and New York. Failure to do so will void the insurance coverage and make the renter liable in case of theft and/or damages.
- Travel to Newfoundland and Labrador is not recommended with C-XLarge or A30 motorhomes.
- Restrictions are in place for the following Northern roads:
Yukon: - Canol Road (Hwy 6), North of Ross River – no insurance coverage
- Aishihik Lake Road – no insurance coverage
- Road between Dease Lake and Telegraph Creek – allowed with 4x4 trucks only
Alaska: - Dalton Highway (Hwy 11), – Restriction in place between Coldfoot and Prudhoe Bay:
(allowed with 4x4 trucks only between June 15th and Sep 15th )
- McCarthy Road, between Chitina and McCarthy – no insurance coverage
Compass Campers reserves the right to limit travel on any roads or road sections based on changing conditions.
Terms regarding vehicle replacement in case of breakdowns or accidents which are outlined in our insurance conditions do not apply to the above mentioned roads.
Traffic Violations, Parking Fines and Toll Charges
The renter of the vehicle is fully responsible for all toll charges and fines or other consequences resulting from violation of traffic regulations, parking orders or prohibitions, or any other laws or regulations, during the rental. As a courtesy, Compass Campers will ensure that tickets and fines are paid in timely fashion if the renter provides the ticket and payment. For any tickets, fines or tolls that are processed after completion of the rental agreement, Compass Campers reserves the right to charge an administration fee of up to $25.00 in addition to the amount of the charges and/or fine and associated costs. All fees will be charged to the renter’s credit card and the renter will be notified by e-mail or mail. Customers are encouraged to inform Compass Campers of any potential toll charges or fines upon drop off to avoid the administration fee.
Trucks And Campers
The camper may not be removed from the truck at any time. Insurance coverage is void for all damages incurred as a result of removing the camper from the truck. Baby Seats information The following baby/child and booster seat options can be installed in our vehicles:
**Due to different vehicle models within this category, only 1 child seat can be guaranteed.
All passengers must wear seat belts whilst the vehicle is in motion.
No child restrains are permitted in Van Conversions and C-Small motorhomes.
No baby/child and booster seats can be installed in the front passenger seats.
Booster seats cannot be installed without 3-point seatbelts. Using a booster seat with a lap belt is more dangerous than the lap belt alone.
For A-Class, only 1 tetherhook is available in vehicle type, which means only 1child/infant seat can be mounted. When an infant seat is installed, dinette must be lowered and no adult can sit at the dinette.
Compass Campers staff are not legally permitted to fit baby/child- or booster seats. Our staff may give advice on the installation procedure, however Compass Campers and/or its staff members cannot be held legally liable in case of injuries resulting from improper installation of a car seat.
Note: Children within weight range 9kg to 18kg should be kept rear-facing as long as possible. (Source: BCAA road-safety/child-passenger-safety). Please note that it is not illegal for children to sit in the dinette seats without booster seats, fastened with lap belts only. The purpose of the booster seat is to raise the seating level of the child in order to avoid the seat belt being at throat level, thus eliminating the danger of choking the child during brisk braking. In vehicles that are equipped with lap belts only, such as the C-XLarge motorhome, this risk is not present. Therefore children of approx. 5 years of age or above, would be allowed to sit in the dinette seat fastened with a lap belt only. However, please note that it is ultimately up to the customer to decide. Fraserway RV Rentals will offer guidelines but will not make any decisions in this regard. Transfers Compass Campers RV Rentals offers free transfers to/from international airports, hotels in the vicinity of the airports, as well as hotels downtown. Note: No transfers provided after 1:00 p.m. Customers must contact the rental location to arrange a shuttle transfer in advance (ideally at least 1 to 2 days prior to departure). Seating on our shuttle buses will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. To schedule a pick up, customers may use the contact details. Please note that shuttle transfer requests will only be answered during office hours.

Sandman YYC Airport Customers who are not staying at a designated transfer hotel can make their own way to one of these hotels where they will be picked up. Transfers from other hotels can be requested by the customer a few days prior to pick up but cannot be guaranteed. Liability Coverage / Deductible Reducer and Waiver Agreements 1. LIABILITY COVERAGE Compass Campers maintains liability coverage on all its rental vehicles to a maximum of CAD $5,000,000.00 for any bodily injury and property damage liability claims arising from the operation or use of its rental vehicles, provided all safety instructions as recommended by Compass Campers have been followed. Premiums for this Basic public liability coverage are included in all rental rates, which also include premiums for collision insurance and comprehensive insurance. Reduction and waiver agreements are subject to the express terms of this rental contract and are null and void if any of the terms of the rental agreement are breached. 2. CDR – COLLISION DEDUCTIBLE REDUCTION AGREEMENT (Minimum charge of $182.00 will apply regardless of rental duration) (Not available for rentals originating in Whitehorse between November 01 and March 31) A collision deductible reducer is available for CAD $26.00 per day to a maximum of CAD $780.00 per rental and provides
the following benefits: A. Optional CDR reduces the renter’s responsibility for damages from CAD $7,500.00 to CAD $750.00 per occurrence (exceptions are listed under clause #4). B. CDR will guarantee the renter a replacement vehicle when the renter’s vehicle becomes inoperable due to damage, even if the renter is at fault (unless the damage is a direct result of negligence, misuse or violation of restrictions). The replacement vehicle will be delivered to a location agreed upon by Compass Campers and the renter and will be dispatched within 24 hours from the time the renter notifies Compass Campers that the renter’s vehicle has become inoperable. Delivery will be limited to a province/state, which borders the province in which the renter took delivery of the renter’s vehicle. Compass Campers is not obliged to deliver van conversions, C-Large, C-XLarge, MH27-SW, or A-Luxury motorhomes to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland, Labrador or Alaska. Any expenses for accommodation, food etc. are the renter’s responsibility if the damage or breakdown is the renter’s fault. C. Damages and deductibles are subject to applicable taxes. D. In case the CDR is not purchased, Compass Campers reserves the right to block the full deductible amount of $7,500 on the
customer’s credit card (VISA, MC or AMEX). E. The following damages are covered under the CDR Reduction agreement (see exceptions under clause #4):
covered under the CDR or CDW agreement unless the renter can prove that contact with Ford / Dodge / Chevrolet was
established and service was declined. Theft, loss or damage of personal property and personal injuries are the renter’s responsibility. 5. SECURITY DEPOSIT A damage deposit equal to the amount of the deductible ($7,500 or $750) is required at the time of departure, authorizing the
amount on a major credit card (VISA, MC or AMEX). In the event of an accident, Compass Campers will retain the security deposit until the motor vehicle insurance company determines liability for the accident. If the motor vehicle insurance company notifies Compass Campers that the renter is not at fault, Compass Campers agrees to reimburse the security deposit immediately after receiving notification from the motor vehicle insurance company. 6. EXCHANGE RATE VARIATIONS Compass Campers cannot be held responsible for exchange rate variations while a security deposit is being held. 7. INSURANCE COVERAGE THROUGH A THIRD PARTY If the renter is covered for damages through a third party insurer, he/she agrees to pay Compass Campers for all damages upon return. It is the renter’s responsibility to re-claim the amount from his/her third party insurer, Compass Campers will not claim the amount on the customer’s behalf. It is the renter’s responsibility to examine his/her own policy to ensure that all damages are covered. 8. REPORTING OF DAMAGES / ACCIDENTS Any damages and/or injuries involving a third party (vehicle, person and/or property) must be reported to the police immediately. All damages must be reported to Compass Campers as soon as possible. Winter Rentals The following information is provided to all renters who are travelling during a time of the year where freezing temperatures are a risk. We kindly ask you to read these directions carefully and sign the document in acceptance. Vehicles are winterized:
Please note that all vehicles departing between October 01 – April 30 may be subject to winterization. The decision will be based on the temperatures and the Please note that all our vehicles are winterized as long as the temperatures are constantly below freezing. Therefore the vehicle will have NO water on board. You will have to supply external water jugs and the shower will not be usable. If you wish to use the toilet you will need to carry anti-freeze with you to ensure the liquids will not freeze in the tank. The same goes for the sinks (grey water). If you are planning on draining any liquids down the grey water tank please note: a cup of antifreeze will be required after each use to ensure no water is freezing in the p-trap and the tanks cannot be more than 50% full (leaving enough air for expansion in the event the contents freeze after all). As all public dump stations will be closed, a dumping fee of $25 will be levied upon return if the grey- or black water tank have been used. Batteries:
Please be aware that batteries drain much faster in cold weather. The camper batteries are connected to several appliances and electrical systems in your camper and therefore have to be kept charged up at all times. In order to keep your batteries at a working level the vehicle needs to be plugged in to an electrical power outlet each night. Therefore please plan your trip accordingly and ensure that 110V plug-ins are available at your destination for the night. Furnace:
One of the most important features in your camper during the winter months is your furnace. Your furnace is running on propane but the automatically connected ventilator for distributing the heat inside the camper is drawing its power from your batteries (a night without being plugged in while your furnace is running might drain your batteries enough to prevent them from functioning properly. Once batteries are depleted they will no longer accept charges and need to be connected to a special external charger for 5-6 days before they are able to hold any charge). Propane:
Several appliances are running off your propane supply:
Stove top, oven (if applicable), refrigerator and as mentioned above – the furnace.
Supplied propane on board varies from 32l – 87l depending on the vehicle type and will likely not last for your entire trip (especially because the furnace will be drawing a lot of propane). Therefore another important point to implement into your planning stage for winter camping is possible locations to refill your propane supply along your planned route.
IMPORTANT: Propane transforms to a liquid state at approximately -42°C (-44°F), which will render all propane-operated appliances inoperative. It is important to note that while driving, the wind chill may cause propane to cool down further below the actual outside temperature, and may therefore liquefy faster than expected. Engine Block Heater:
Once temperatures drop below -20°C, starting the engine may become more difficult. As these winter temperatures are common in several regions of Canada, all our vehicles are equipped with an engine block heater. A block heater warms the engine to increase the chances for the engine to start as well as warm up your vehicle faster than it normally would in extremely cold weather.
We will supply you with an extension cord at time of pick up to plug in your engine block heater whenever temperatures are falling below -20°C, particularly when parked for a longer time period (i.e. overnight).

If your vehicle is equipped with a built-in generator, please bear in mind that generators may not start in cold temperatures and are therefore not a safe back up to rely on for producing 110V and recharging your camper batteries. Attention:
If forecasted temperatures are below -35°C we keep the right to cancel the booking for safety reasons (with a full refund of your rental cost). Extreme temperatures may cause a lack of pressure in the propane tank and may prevent your furnace and other appliances from working properly. In case of Emergency In case of an Accident:
Any charges for towing or recovery of a vehicle not arranged through Roadside Assistance (Ford / Dodge / Chevrolet) are not covered by CDR or CDW agreements unless the renter can prove that contact with Ford / Dodge / Chevrolet was established and service was declined. Vehicle Breakdown and Appliances failure: In the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown we would like to ask you to do the following: Engine related issues:
- For minor issues, e.g. keys locked inside the vehicle or an empty engine battery, call (Ford, Chevrolet or Dodge) Roadside Assistance. They will send a contractor who will be able to unlock or jump start the vehicle for you.
- In case of an engine failure you may contact (Ford, Chevrolet or Dodge) Roadside Assistance, however we recommend contacting Compass Campers RV first. Depending on your location and the time of the breakdown, we will decide whether the vehicle should be towed to a dealer for repair or if we will send a replacement vehicle before towing the broken down vehicle. Coach related issues:
- If you encounter any problems with the coach itself, e.g. problems with the fridge, furnace, stove, air conditioner, water supply, waste water tanks etc. please contact either your nearest Compass Campers RV location during office hours, or call the toll free emergency number after hours. Flat Tires:
- Roadside assistance does not always offer to replace a damaged tire, they might only offer to tow the vehicle to the closest dealer. If this is the case, please contact your nearest Compass Campers RV location during office hours or call the toll free emergency number after hours, as we are often able to arrange a service call trough a tire company directly. You can also call the KalTire emergency line. Emergency Contact: Before calling Roadside Assistance or Compass Campers RV, please have the Compass Campers RV contract and odometer reading at hand. Roadside Assistance (Ford / Dodge / Chevrolet): For everything related to engine problems, towing, vehicle recovery, flat tires and lockout service. Compass Campers RV Breakdown Assistance: For all vehicle related emergencies which require immediate assistance (see hours below). KalTire 24-hour Emergency Road Service: For tire related problems after business hours (only if Roadside Assistance declines service)
provider may charge a fee, which we have no influence on. When calling Roadside Assistance: 1. You will first be asked to provide the vehicle’s VIN number (Vehicle Identification Number). The VIN number can be found either on your contract, on the vehicle registration papers or on the dash-board of your vehicle close to the windshield (driver side).

3. You will be asked to provide the exact location of your vehicle, street name, crossroad; provide as many details as possible.
4. It will be important that you mention to the Ford call centre agent that you are driving a motorhome. If you are renting a truck-camper, make sure you mention that there is a camper loaded onto the truck. The approximate length of the vehicle may also be important.
5. You will be asked to leave a contact number. If you have no access to a public phone and no cell phone reception, it is especially important that you describe as clearly as possible where the vehicle is located.
6. Roadside Assistance will then send a tow truck to your location as soon as possible. In remote locations this may take up to a few hours, however Roadside Assistance will usually provide you with an Estimated Time of Arrival.
7. Notify Compass Campers RV; depending on the nature of the problem it will be decided whether or not a replacement vehicle will be dispatched. Terms of booking on this website
The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. If you encounter issues with the vehicle whilst on hire, you MUST report these issues directly to the relevant supplier at the earliest possible time. This will allow the supplier to remedy any issues and minimise any inconvenience to you. If you fail to report any vehicle issues during your rental, it is likely that compensation will not be offered. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 2% credit card or debit card surcharge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): 25.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
