Sunday Pick up/Drop off can be requested from Oct 1 to April 30 for a Sunday Fee $300 ($375 retail) per drop off or pick up. Note: Edmonton location is closed on Sundays

We use a Flex Rate system for all our locations: Calgary, Vancouver, Whitehorse, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton and Halifax.

Included in the vehicle charges:
A non-refundable deposit will be taken from your nominated credit card at the time of booking confirmation. This percentage of the total fees will vary depending on the number of days your booking is placed before travel commencement. The balance payment due will be deducted from your nominated credit card 40 days prior to the commencement of your rental. Please ensure there are sufficient funds available on your credit card. Initial Deposit and remaining payment can be made by Master Card, Visa only. If you are booking within 40 days of travel the entire cost of the rental will be transacted from your nominated credit card at the time of booking confirmation.
Note on foreign currency bookings: full balance of payment (including the deposit) will be collected at the time of confirmation if you have elected to process your booking in a currency different to CAD$.
There may be other fees paid locally upon arrival (e.g. GST or Provincial Taxes, physical extras like chairs, tables). These can be paid by Master Card, Visa or American Express credit cards. The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
Booked and cancelled within 5 days is "No Charge" when departure date is greater than 60 nights from booking the date. Bookings cancelled more than 5 days after booking date are subject to the following cancellation charges:
Over 63 days prior to departure - $100.00
62 - 33 days prior to departure - 20% of Rental plus one-way fees
32 - 18 days prior to departure - 50% of Rental plus one-way fees
17 days - departure day / no shows - 100% of the total Rental plus applicable one-way fees and any surcharges if applicable Please note that taxes are additional to the above fees.
Online Check In
It is strongly advised that you complete your check-in process online (will be available for use 90 days prior to their pick-up date.) via the following link, this will speed up the takeover process significantly and help you get on the road sooner. http://www.canadream.com/onlinerepublic please enter your Name, Confirmation Number, Pickup Location and Pickup Date.
If you wish to make any changes to your booking the booking will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate that is valid at the time of the booking change, depending on the change requested.
The following situations are classified as booking alterations and the flex rate of a confirmed booking will be recalculated using the most current Flex Rate if a change is requested to:
1. Change of booking name
2. Change of Vehicle Type
3. Change of Pick up location
4. Change in the Pick-up date
5. Change in the Drop off date
6. Change in one-way drop off location
The flex rate of a confirmed booking will not change with requested changes to party size and/or adding prepaid items.
If an amendment is made to the Guest booking dates within 14 nights of pick up, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (the Guest booking will be charged at the number of nights originally booked) or if a lesser RV is selected. There is no refund for late pick up or early return of the RV. A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 nights of RV pick up or if notification occurs during the hire.
The first change only is at no charge. The first change may involve several aspects of the reservation. The second and subsequent changes are at $50 CAD per aspect, per change.
Change to drop-off location after pick-up
If your Guest changes their drop-off location after pick-up, they should get in touch with our friendly reservations team who will be happy to help. Our team will advise the Guests if the change is possible and if a relocation fee applies. Any fees would be charged directly to the Guest on a retail rate.
Extending a Road Trip
If a Guest gets swept up in the adventure of their road trip and wishes to extend their booking whilst on hire, they must first obtain authorization from CanaDream Reservations who will advise of the additional costs. Rental extension is subject to fleet availability. The extra cost (Retail rate) of an extended booking must be paid by credit card over the telephone or at a CanaDream location immediately on confirmation of the booking extension. If the Guest decides to extend their booking duration before pick-up (changing the drop-off date) the Booking Amendment policy applies.
Change of RV
We understand Guests needs are different and therefore our RV’s can be requested by category, however not by make or model. We always do our best to accommodate requests, however should the booked RV not be available due to unforeseen circumstances we will substitute the booked RV with an alternative available at the time of pick up, at no extra cost. Any changes to the booked RV and agreed to by or requested by the Guest do not entitle the Guest to a refund
Other CanaDream Rates
Flex Rates are separate to any other rate or special you may have. Flex Rates do not replace these other rates or specials; rather Flex Rates offer you another choice. Flex Rates only apply to new bookings. CanaDream will not accept cancellations of any other rate scheme that are then re-booked using Flex Rates or vice versa. Flex Rates cannot be combined with any other rate scheme.
If a Guest wishes to extend the booking whilst on hire, they must first obtain authorization from CanaDream Reservations who will advise of the additional costs. Rental extension is subject to fleet availability. The extra cost (Gross Rate) of an extended booking must be paid by credit card over the telephone or at a CanaDream location immediately on confirmation of the booking extension. If the Guest decides to extend their booking duration before pick-up (changing the drop-off date) the Booking Amendment policy applies.
We strongly strongly recommends that Guests ensure they take out the highest level of personal Travel Insurance to cover and protect them from unexpected circumstances on their vacation.
On Pick-up, your Guests will complete a self-guided “Quick Start Tour” tour of their RV, watch a vehicle demonstration video and a member of our Guest Services team will be on hand to help and answer any questions they may have on the exterior and interior of their RV unit. Guests are also asked to complete a short pre-departure survey. Guests will also complete a drop-off survey upon return.
A road trip allows you to travel at your own pace, to ensure our Guest’s get the most of their vacation a minimum 7-night booking period applies. Vehicles can be dropped off earlier, but the minimum payment is 7 nights.
All Motorhomes must be winterized when travelling in freezing conditions with the exceptions of CanaDream’s unique MHA (2650) RV unit, which is specially built for winter conditions and allows for use of the water, toilet and shower in freezing conditions. As the weather in Canada can be unpredictable, CanaDream will winterize their units as the temperatures start to drop into the freezing zone. Once the RV is winterized, no water can be put into the fresh water tank and it cannot be hooked up to the water supply. Therefore, no water is available in the motorhome. It is the Guests’ responsibility to have the RV winterized while on a trip at his/her own expense should the weather conditions require. The Guest is also financially responsible for having the RV rewinterised on the return trip if the RV was winterized at the time of pick up. A $150 re-winterization fee will be charged if the RV is returned non-winterized when the temperature is -5 degrees Celsius or below.
The Guest will be fully responsible for any damages to the plumbing and water systems caused by freezing during their trip.
CanaDream welcomes group bookings for all its unit types with the following changes to our regular terms and conditions for groups of 5 or more vehicles. A further deposit of $500 per unit is required upon confirmation of the booking. Full payment is required 90 days prior to departure.
Group Cancellation Policy
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
* Over 183 days prior to departure $500 per vehicle booked
* 182- 63 days prior to departure 50% of the charges
* Under 63 days - full payment of rental charges is required in the event of a cancellation.
CanaDream is happy to offer a CanaDream operated transfer service or assistance with a private Taxi service across our stations.
The stations offering the CanaDream shuttle will each have a transfer charge (which is a contribution towards the cost of this service). This is still a significant saving for our Guests.
The stations where we will use a private Taxi service, will allow greater flexibility and better Guest experience (as the operation of our own transfer was becoming challenging in the locations and volumes of Guests). We will reimburse a significant portion of the taxi cost when the Guest arrives at pick up.
Fees/Reimbursement are per booking:
Reimbursement from/to airport: Whitehorse Private Taxi $10/way; Calgary Private Taxi $20/way; Vancouver Private Taxi $25/way
CanaDream Operated transfers
Note: Unfortunately, due to space restrictions in the CanaDream transfer vehicles, we cannot guarantee the transfer of bikes, large sports equipment or excessive luggage. Please advise your Guest to call us before pick-up to discuss their transfer requirements and we will advise if this is possible, otherwise we will be happy to arrange a private transfer at the Guest’s own cost.
Private Taxi transfers
RV Collection and Return
Guests must phone their pick-up location either on the day prior to collection up to 6pm or on the morning of pick up between 8-10am, where they will be informed of their designated pick-up time and a transfer booked if required (from airport or airport hotel).
Pick-up time is between:
Monday to Sunday - 13:00 to 16:00
We are happy to offer an Early Pick Up ($300/$375 retail) which allows pick up between 10:00 and 12:00 noon. This includes our transfer service if required.
Guests are advised against turning up without confirmation of their time, this can result in a frustrating long wait for the Guests.
Drop off Time is between:
Monday to Sunday - 08:00 to 10:00
We offer a Late drop off ($300/$375 retail) which allows drop off any time before 15:00, this includes our transfer service if required.
Returning the RV
The RV is your home away from home and for comfort, we recommend it’s kept tidy throughout the road trip. The RV’s need to be returned to the station as they were collected, with the interior cleaned and holding tanks emptied. The RV exterior does not require cleaning unless it’s covered with excessive dirt or mud, making it difficult for our team to see its return condition. Your Guest’s will be able to purchase at check-in a cleaning service to reduce the final cleaning burden if they wish.
Fees will apply if the RV is not returned in the required condition.

Early Returns/Unused Kilometer
Sorry, there are no refunds for early returns or unused kilometers.
We understand that while on holiday the RV may require small repairs or small items included in the kitchen kit may need replaced. So not to disturb the road trip any further, if the damage was not caused by the Guest, repairs up to $100 can be completed without authorisation and will be reimbursed on presentation of the receipts at time of drop off. If repairs over $100 are needed, the CanaDream On-road team needs to be informed prior to the repair being completed. All RV’s are covered for 24/7 Mechanical emergency roadside assistance.
Infringements, Tolls and Fees
CanaDream will pass on any charges the guest receives for traffic infringements, toll way or parking fines during their road trip. If the Guest pays these fines immediately there will be no additional administration fees. However, if the Guest delays in paying the fines we reserve the right to charge an administration fee.
We are happy for Guests to bring a pet dog or cat on their vacation in our RV for a fee of $300. Service animals can travel in our RV’s free of charge with prior permission and proof of service certification We ask for Guests to tell us in advance that they wish to bring their pet and require Guests to ensure their pet does not cause any damage to the vehicle. Should additional pet cleaning be required at drop off, additional cleaning charges will apply.
Smoking is not allowed in our RV’s. A penalty of $500 will be imposed inside the RV to cover the costs of sanitizing and cleaning.
Individual or Additional km is charged at $0.41 per km (payable locally)
Driving License/Driver's Age
Prohibited Travel Areas
Travel in the following areas is strictly prohibited at all times:
Guests are welcome to travel into the United States. A $10.00/night surcharge applies to any travel within the United States (including Alaska). If US Driving is not included in the rental package, this can be added at pick up, or if the travel itinerary is unknown Guests must call the pick-up location to pay the US driving fee before entering the USA.
Guests assume all responsibility for any expense or loss of time while traveling in restricted areas.
There is a surcharge of $1,500 for all RV vacations starting from any of our locations with permission to travel to certain festivals: such as Burning Man Festival or Electric Daisy Carnival in Nevada, USA. Vehicles taken to festivals must be expressly requested and confirmed at time of reservation. Guests who travel to festivals without permission will be subject to a $1,500 penalty and will void all insurance coverage.
There is a surcharge of $500.00 Net ($625 Retail) for all RV vacations starting from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal or Halifax with permission to travel on/in:
Burning Man Surcharge
There is a surcharge of $1,000 for all RV vacations starting from any of our locations with permission to travel to the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, USA. Vehicles for Burning Man must be expressly requested and confirmed at time of reservation. Guests who travel to Burning Man without permission will be subject to a $1,500 penalty and will void all insurance coverage.
Convenience Kit Fees
The convenience kit includes dishes, cookware, pillows, linen, towels, sleeping bags and cleaning equipment.
Based on availability, we are happy to offer a one-way travel option to and from all of our vacation centre locations (except to or from Edmonton). Please note that one-way travel in our TCA vehicle type is only possible between Vancouver, Calgary and Whitehorse. One-ways must be reserved and confirmed in advance.
Special or unique one-ways across North America are available on request.
One-way between all CanaDream locations - $940.00
CanaDream vehicles may be rented for commercial purposes if special prior approval is obtained.
CanaDream makes no representation as to fuel consumption. Vehicles are supplied with a minimum ¼ tank. If the Guest returns with less fuel than on departure, he/she will be charged for that amount of fuel. There is no refund if client returns with more fuel than on departure.

Child Restraints Guideline We are happy to provide the following information on Child Restraint Guidelines for CanaDream RV’s.
Child seat regulations for driving cars vary by province in Canada. CanaDream’s guidelines are based on the
most restrictive provincial policies
In Canada there are no regulations for having child seats in taxi or coach services. There are also no
specific regulations in Canada requiring additional fixed points specific to child seats in RV’s. Nor is there
specific legislation dealing with the use of child seats in motorhomes.
CanaDream RV’s are fitted with safety airbag systems in the front seats of each unit which makes front seats
unsuitable for children under the age of 13.
In the chart below you will see 3 different types of child seats: Infant, Child and Booster (for the appropriate
age/height/weight of child) alongside this, is the number of each type of seat which our units can
might be possible to house more than 1 child/infant seat, only 1 can be fixed to the tether anchor. The other
will need to be attached solely by the lap belt. No child restraints are required for children over min. 140 cm (55 inches), OR over min. 26kg (60lb) OR 8 years of age (on average)
PLEASE NOTE: All child restraints must comply with current Canadian standards and it is the responsibility of the Guest to fit them in the RV. We strongly recommend any child restraints pre-booked.
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this information, CanaDream is not responsible for any errors or omissions. Please remember
• When reserving the RV, you can request the rental of a child or a booster seat (for a fee). We do not
provide rear facing infant seats for rental.
• Guests are responsible for fitting the child/booster seat in the RV.
• It is important that you specify which type of child seat you require at time of booking. We strongly
recomend that you pre-book your child seat(s) as availability is limited.
• If you are making use of our complimentary airport/airport hotel pick up, please also request the
appropriate child/booster seat(s) for the transfer. This can be done on the evening before or the morning of
pick up. Other Things You Need to Know

While on their road trip Guests are responsible for:
If, for any reason beyond the company's control, the reserved vehicle is not available, CanaDream reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent value or offer a higher rated vehicle at no additional cost. Should a lower rated vehicle be substituted, the company's only responsibility is to refund the difference between the two vehicles. Although this is infrequent, accidents or mechanical repairs may force substitutions.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. If you encounter issues with the vehicle whilst on hire, you MUST report these issues directly to the relevant supplier at the earliest possible time. This will allow the supplier to remedy any issues and minimise any inconvenience to you. If you fail to report any vehicle issues during your rental, it is likely that compensation will not be offered. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 2% credit card or debit card surcharge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): 25.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
